Printer Paper

Ok, a lot of you who’re coming to this site are asking not just for lined paper templates, but printing paper as well. I’m not sure when printing became so popular, but suddenly EVERYone wants to print. With so many people printing there are tons of companies who did not used to be involved in the printing industry now reselling printing paper.

There are many types of printing paper that you could use to print lines on, and the task of making sure you get the right paper for your needs can be daunting. Here are some tips to get you started:

  • Make sure the paper is right for your printer. The paper’s finish (glossy, matte, etc), weight (thickness), and brightness will all affect the end result.
  • Is the paper is right for the job? If you’re printing in black, you don’t want to print on brown paper. If you do use colored paper, make sure the hues are complimentary and won’t detract from the content.
  • A picture says a thousand words. Printing photos? Get glossy paper to give them a professional and classy look. Don’t forget to change the paper’s thickness in your printer’s preferences so that it won’t jam the printer supply tray.
